What do I need to upgrade my KYC level at Mukuru?
Below are the requirements for each of our KYC levels:
1. Mukuru KYC Lite:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Mobile number (verified)
- ID number (type & country)
- Country of Origin
- Preferred language
- T&C's accepted
2. Mukuru Core:
This level requires the same information as KYC Lite, plus the following additional information/documentation:
- Proof of ID
- ID Selfie
- Address
- Occupation
3. Mukuru Max:
- A clear image of your Foreign Passport/Foreign ID or Asylum Paper
- A selfie holding your ID
- Proof of income that is over R25,000 per month
If you’re an SA ID holder, we need:
- A clear image of your South African ID
- A selfie holding your ID
- Proof of your address
