To sign-up for a Mukuru Wallet you need to register with Mukuru and provide required KYC (Know Your Customer) documents, such as an ID, driver's license, or passport and address.

Once you’ve opted in and accepted the wallet terms and conditions, you will also be guided on how to create a 5-
digit PIN that will be used to access the wallet and keep it secure. Once you have created your Mukuru Wallet you can load money into your Mukuru Wallet and safely send money locally to your recipient's Mukuru Wallet or arrange for cash collection at their nearest Mukuru branch or booth—all from the comfort of your phone! Please note, the option to Opt In will on be available if you're a Mukuru Core customer.
