How do I claim Mukuru Funeral Cover?
To lodge a claim, you need to be a registered Mukuru Core Customer. You can register by following the below steps:

- Type “BYE” to end the current chat. This will take you back to the main menu from where you will be able to follow the next step below.
- Select "Sign up for Mukuru!" and follow the prompts
When signing up you will also need to provide the following information:
- Legal Documentation Number (Please ensure that you have a valid SA ID, a foreign Passport or Asylum Paper)
- A selfie holding your Identity
- Your Home Address
- Job Title
Once registered, you can make a claim using any one of the 3 options below: - WhatsApp Live Chat: Send "Hi" to +27860018555, then select "Help me" > "Live Chat" > "Funeral Cover" > "Claims".

Complete and submit the claim form with all necessary documents. Mukuru will send these to Siyavika, and Guardrisk will review the claim for approval.
