How do I activate my Mukuru Card?
To activate your Mukuru Card, you’ll first need to become a Mukuru customer — and it’s super simple!
Step 1: Register with Mukuru
You can register at any Mukuru branch, through a Mukuru agent, or online. All you need is:
A valid South African ID or passport
Proof of income
Proof of address
Once registered, you’ll receive your Mukuru Card — absolutely free!
Step 2: Activate Your Card
To activate your card, just load R100 or more onto it. You can do this at:
Shoprite, Checkers, Usave
Via EFT or at a Mukuru branch
Your card will be activated with this first deposit, and your digital wallet will be ready to use.
