Why Didn't I Receive the Offer?
The offer has been made available to a select few customers who pre-qualify for this campaign. We are looking to roll this out to more customers in the future. Keep an eye on your Mukuru SMSes and USSD/WhatsApp profile to see when you qualify.
Who Can Qualify for a Mukuru Loan?
There are several factors Mukuru considers. However, all customers must be existing Mukuru Card holders and have passed a credit check with the NCR after opting in to receive loan offers.
How Long Does It Take to Receive a Loan Approval After Opting In?
Loans are offered to a select few customers. If a customer qualifies and has opted in, they can be offered a loan in the next campaign. Please note that the product is still in its pilot phase, and not all customers are offered loans.
Qualifying Criteria and Opting in for a Mukuru Loan
To potentially qualify for a loan offer when you need it:
- Have an active Mukuru Card.
- Regularly receive funds on your Mukuru Card.
- Ensure your Mukuru Card is not expiring soon (within 4 months).
